End of the trip

Here are some photos from the return ride home.  My phone was broken so all images on this last post were uploaded once we had returned to Webster.

Campgrounds were getting lonely as it was the end of November and damn cold.

Heck, even the roads were lonely.  But the views never ended.  Beautiful country.

We had to leave Mesa Verde due to icy roads and snow on the way but we discovered Aztec Ruins Park, a bit farther south.  A nice stop.

Eureka, Nevada.  Simply a gas stop but would love to stop back.  We were trying to beat the snow and couldn't stop long.

The guy checking us into the campground said, "You guys drove through hell."  Yes, we did.

The elms weren't whispering, it was cold.

Petroglyphs.

Dinosaur footprints.

Zion National Park - our last big stop.  From here on out, we drove more than and did sightseeing less.
